Six weeks Belgium.

For my work I had to go to Belgium for about 6 weeks. I already liked Leuven in the winter, but now in the summer it was even better! The first weekend however I went to Ghent, to meet a friend again, which I’ve met in New Zealand! It was pretty nice seeing him again and getting a trip around in Ghent from a local person! The first evening was a bit strange though, because we were invited to a birthday of someone we both didn’t know :D. This party was in a bar and the people there were pretty nice!

The second day we went to the city center itself to walk around. There I saw “Manneke Pis” of Ghent, where it had some clothes on . I also walked around in the castle, which was a very nice castle! The last day I was there we went to play tennis and after that we went biking for 50km! That was kinda hard after not playing any sports in the last 7 months! I already knew that my physical fitness didn’t improve very much the last year, but I was a bit shocked that it was that bad! But this was a very nice weekend!

Once back in Montreal, I didn’t do much. Later that day I went with Magali to the park to see if you “friends” were there and we had some fries with squeezing cheese (typical food from Quebec). This was pretty nice, but not for every day! Read More...

I can’t write much about the trip on the bus to New York, the only thing I can say was that the trip was long and boring. Then you think that when I came to New York, the good times could start, but to be honest I was pretty tired and went to bed early. Read More...

Vacation in Canada and New York city.

This vacation was a bit a last minute one, but I’m glad that I went. It was nice to meet Magali again!

When I arrived at the airport Magali was already waiting for me and we took the bus to her apartment. I arrived in Taiwan on Tuesday May 20th. The flight was pretty ok, because I could even sleep for about 2 hours in the plane, that is the longest I’ve ever slept in a plane :D! During the week I had to work enough, but on Friday evening I went with some colleagues to Taipei to eat. Of course after diner we went out in Taipei, we started in Carnegies, which is a bar where a lot of foreign people go to. A colleague of mine has a girlfriend here and once I got to talk to her, she told me that they were going to a Dutch castle the next day with a friend of hers and she asked me if I wanted to join them. So the next day I went to a Dutch castle in Taiwan . Later that evening we went to Vibe, where I met a girl who is a manager in an Indian restaurant and there I danced the rest of the night away.
