Hey All,
Another update this year 😊😊. This time it’s time to share some images from my trip to the most northern part of Norway.
A note: If you want to see larger images, please go to the bottom and click on the images in the gallery
This trip started by flying to Tromsø with the plan being to drive to the North Cape, Kirkenes (near the Norwegian – Russian border) and then back to Tromsø again to fly back to Oslo.
Part 1 will consist of the first few days, which mostly consisted of me relaxing, reading and removing myself from any screens/the world as much as possible (although reading was also done on an e-reader, so not completely removed from screens…).
Being at Oslo Gardermoen during the afternoon and it being fairly empty was kinda strange, but it was a good feeling being back at the airport and traveling again! Everything went great and the flight itself had some nice views as well without too many clouds. Getting the car somewhat of a challenge, because they parked the car in another spot and thus I couldn’t find the car at first. When they tried to walk me to the car, they also couldn’t find it, which was kinda funny, but got to the car in the end and the roadtrip could begin 😄😄.

While driving throught from Tromsø to the Aurora Fjord Cabind there were already a lot of locations where I wanted to stop and take pictures. The bad part is that the reststops didn’t have the greatest views, but I got some nice views anyway (I think at least).

Once I arrived at the cabins, I saw that the pictures on their website didn’t lie about the view from the cabins and I though that it would be a pretty awesome place to relax and wind down

On the second day I went to the Aurora Distillery, which is the most northern distillery in the world, where there of course also was some tasting of their products at the end 😄😄. I must say that they produce a very good Gin for which they also won a few prices.

That was it for part 1, continue to part 2 and part 3.
Cheers,
Paul
