Discovery of Northern Norway – Part 2

Hey All,
In case you missed part 1.

A note: If you want to see larger images, please go to the bottom and click on the images in the gallery

The best part during the first 3 days, or even my trip, was the hike towards “Blåisvannet” (Blue glacier lake). I didn’t take the direct path from the parking lot, but I first went to “Aspenvatnet” another lake close to the parking lot, where I had a snack with a view. I especially liked the water being that still!

From Aspevatnet I kinda followed the route to Blåisvannet, I say kinda, because you needed to cross 2 rivers (luckily the water was low) and halfway the signs stopped… But nevertheless, there were some amazing views and the lake itself was an awesome place to have lunch!!!

Once back at the cabin, the sky wasn’t really blue anymore, but the view was still amazing with the rays of sun poking through the clouds!

Shot I like from the BBQ place at the cabins

That was all for part 2, continue to part 3

Cheers,
Paul
