Hey All,
In case you missed it, here are links to part 1, part 2 and part 3

This part would be about my trip from the North Cape to Kirkeness.

While driving I saw that there was a canyon nearby and I usually really like canyons an so I went to have a look. This was a pretty nice canyon and you could like a large part on top of the ‘cliff’. In the picture below, I’m enjoying a snack after walking next to the canyon for a while.

When in Northern Norway you’re in a pretty good spot to learn about the Sami culture. Still would like to know more, but the Varanger Sami Museum is a very nice, small museum on this subject!

Near Kirkenes I stayed at the “Snowhotel Kirkenes”, the first night I spend in the snowhotel itself and the second night I stayed in a cabin. When you sleep in the snowhotel (entirely made of ice and the rooms were -4 ËšC) you are provided with a sleepingbag, but I couldn’t close this sleeping bag, because it was way too warm. It was a pretty nice experience though and I can definitely recommend staying in a ice hotel at some point, especially when they have a warm sauna available when you wake up 😄

That was it for part 4, continue to part 5, also known as the final part.
Cheers,
Paul

The usual entrance of the Snowhotel. They had some pretty great sculptures throughout the hotel
