Hi All,
In case you missed part 2.
Days 5 was mainly 1 really nice hike and day 6 was going towards the largest glacier in continental Europe (Jostedal glacier).

Day 5 (Hike up Kvamshesten / Storhesten):
Day 5 was all about 1 hike, which was to ‘climb’ Kvamshesten, also known as “Storehesten”, since it’s the highest of the mountains with the name “hesten” (= Norwegian for Horse). This hike has 2 options, the short and the long one. It was not recommended to take the short (and steep) option when you were not known, but the guy at the campsite told me that it was pretty well indicated where to go on the steep part. To be honest, where the route split, the indicator to the ‘long’ path was overgrown with plants and I didn’t see it and I took the short path. This path definitely had some steep parts where you were almost literally climbing and you should not do when you are afraid of hights.

Day 6 (Sande – Fjærland):
Today it was finally time to drive towards the large Norwegian glacier (Jostedalsbreen / Jostedal Glacier). To drive here, I spend a bit longer on the road to also drive 1 of the 18 Scenic Routes through Norway again, in this case the Gaularfjellet which had some amazing views!

After taking the above pictures, I had the pleasure of driving down the road on the picture 😊

That was all for part 3, continue to part 4
Cheers,
Paul
